Third Kansas Home Builder Signs with Epcon Franchising

Atteberry Homes is focused on building net-zero energy homes in the Kansas City market

COLUMBUS, Ohio (June 7, 2021) – It is our pleasure to announce Atteberry Homes of Olathe, Kansas, the 10th new builder to join Epcon Franchising in 2021.

Atteberry Homes is led by Paul and Mary Atteberry and their son, Ethan. Paul retired a few years ago from a career as an Air Traffic Controller and began a second career in rentals and homebuilding. After building up a sizeable portfolio of rental properties, he began his homebuilding company in 2019 and has focused on building net zero energy homes in the Kansas City market. Mary has a background in accounting and IT and will serve as the controller for the franchise. They are currently working with our land acquisition specialist on securing a location for their first Epcon project in areas southwest and southeast of Kansas City on both sides of the state line.

“Paul, Mary and Ethan recently visited Columbus and what they saw in the Central Ohio communities cemented this opportunity in their minds as an exciting next step for their business,” says Paul Hanson, president of Epcon Franchising.
