South Shore Communities is led by Chuck Williams and Chris Knight, a leadership team that blends decades of construction, development, and project management experience. Together, they are committed to delivering high-quality homes with integrity, precision, and a deep understanding of both the land and the people they build for.

Chuck Williams brings a wealth of expertise in commercial construction, residential mixed use, and land development throughout the Chicago suburbs and Northwest Indiana. Over the years, he has successfully developed hundreds of home sites and overseen numerous commercial projects. Chuck also spent five years as the owner of a ServiceMaster franchise, where he strengthened his focus on process, consistency, and collaboration. He is currently delivering home sites to builders within a 280-unit master-planned community in Northwest Indiana, further reinforcing his legacy of thoughtful development and builder-first support.

Chris Knight has been in the residential construction industry for over 25 years, starting with jobsite labor at age 12 and quickly progressing to an electrical apprentice by 16. He worked his way through college as an electrician while earning his engineering degree, later managing a concrete plant and working for Norfolk Southern Railroad—all while continuing to run his electrical business. Chris has spent the past five years as a Project Manager in the custom home market. He also holds a real estate license (currently in referral status), giving him a valuable perspective on the homebuying process.

As co-founders of South Shore Communities, Chuck and Chris combine large-scale development knowledge with boots-on-the-ground construction expertise. Their shared commitment to quality craftsmanship, process-driven building, and strong client relationships makes South Shore Communities a trusted name in the Northwest Indiana housing market.
