Civitas Homes is a new company that will be led by Dave Fontana, who was a residential builder in New York for 22 years before relocating to Hickory after winding down his New York operations. He has spent the last several years purchasing land and rental properties, and is now ready to restart his work in home building with the goal of building a small project in Hickory prior to relocating to Southwest Florida to be closer to his children and take his Epcon Communities franchise to that area.
