Epcon Franchising Reviews 2019 Growth, Announces 2020 Plans

COLUMBUS, Ohio (January 15, 2020) – Epcon Communities Franchising welcomed four new franchise builders, entered two new states and saw existing builders move forward on eleven new communities in 2019. For 2020, Epcon intends to recruit ten new builders and see existing builders identify and document fifteen new communities. As of January 1 of this year, Epcon Communities and its franchise builders are active in 96 projects spread across nineteen states.

Epcon’s 2019 growth builds on momentum started in 2017, with thirteen new franchise builders joining the company in the last three years compared to four in the previous three year period. Epcon’s growth reflects the improvements the franchise company recently made to its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), updates to its franchise recruitment process and growth in its franchise support positions.

“Epcon has made an intentional effort to make the franchise recruitment process as easy as possible for potential builders,” said Paul Hanson, president of Epcon Franchising. “We have focused on demonstrating the value and opportunity Epcon can provide and how it can immediately impact their business. 2019 reflects the success of our efforts, and we are prepared to continue to build on that momentum in 2020.”

Epcon Franchising has recently added a Land Consultant to assist builders in acquiring and developing new projects, a Marketing Manager to assist in launching and promoting new communities, and intends to add a Training Manager in early 2020 to onboard new builders quickly.  These new employees will help Epcon expand its national footprint and strengthen its services on behalf of franchise builders as they start and grow their businesses.
